The 8x10 Bulk Tintype Kit is an authentic re-creation of the tintype process, a type of “instant” photography that was popular in your great-grandparent’s day. These are safe dry-plate tintypes, also known as ferrotypes, like those found in antique shops, not modern imitations. Plates can be cut with scissors to fit your camera or enlarger. The kit makes 10 8x10 tintypes (or ambrotypes if coated on glass.) 

The Bulk Kit contains 10 8x10 satin black aluminum plates, 8oz Liquid Light emulsion, special three-part tintype developer (makes 1 gallon) at 20% off the regular price. (Fixer sold separately.)
